If you’re one of the many people across the country struck by the Pickleball craze, there’s no reason to miss a great workout and a chance to meet the locals while traveling to San Diego. Find courts – many that are free of charge – near to Alcazar Court and stop by for a pick-up game!
Haven’t heard of pickleball? Pickleball is a lot of fun and easy to learn: players face off and whack a waffle-type ball with a solid paddle across a low net on a small court (it’s a combination of tennis, ping pong & badminton). This fast-growing racket sport provides great exercise and with limited equipment is a great option for people on-the-go. Its an ideal game for adults of all ages and ability levels, for either social or competitive play.
