Here in San Diego, we’ve arrived at a very special time of year – no, I’m not talking about Halloween, but Dia de Los Muertos. Also known as Day of the Dead, this annual celebration spanning Wednesday, October 31 through Friday, November 2 is considered one of the most important holidays of the year by many in Mexico and other Latin American countries. Our diverse culture and heritage sees spirits of loved ones remembered and offered hospitality by their families at festivals and community gatherings.
