We felt right at home from the moment we entered the bungalow. Everything throughout the house was well thought-out, from the decorations to the amenities we got to enjoy during our visit for a wedding. The property is in a prime location in Hillcrest, very accessible to restaurants and services within walking distance but removed enough that we enjoyed very quiet nights of sleep. We will look forward to staying here again, thanks Kristen!

I had a lovely stay! Kris’s place was super cozy, pristine, walkable, excellent location, and is stocked with everything you need for a short or extended stay! It is just as pictured/described and so peaceful. I loved that everything is clearly marked/labeled with directions and instructions- super helpful!

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at! We really appreciated the early check-in and great communication. The bed was super comfortable, and there was plenty of space for us as a couple. We loved having a washer and dryer and all the thoughtful touches throughout the space. Great location with lots of restaurants and places to walk nearby. Would definitely stay again!

I loved staying at this studio bungalow; it was the perfect amount of space for me. The bathroom was sizable and also served as a dressing room and laundry room. There is a private patio that was great for morning coffee and evening staring at the stars. The kitchen was very modern and had every amenity. Loved this place and would stay again in the future.

Perfect location, everything is within a short walk; variety of restaurants; this is the type of housing you will fall in love with. the parking place is a bonus; Although it has a well-equipped kitchen, we never cooked. So many choice with-in steps from the front gate. We used to own a 1927 Spanish cottage in Belmont Shore, so this visit was a walk down memory lane. We will be returning in 2027, but will stay longer this time. We never got over to Balboa, so that's our our agenda next year. You will LOVE it !!!!!

The bungalow was everything I wanted for my return to my hometown. While visiting family and returning in the evening, I always felt safe and pampered. Spotless kitchen/bathroom. The linens and robes are lovely (I recognize the brands) and the shower was delightful. Of course the patio and 1930s decor are priceless. (My great grandparents were at the 1915 SanDiego-Panama Exposition) I have already recommended this bungalow to both my sisters who are planning similar trips later this year.Navigating the parking is a bit like Manhattan- so no big deal for me…lol. Thanks for making my stay easy breezy!

This is such a cute place! I visited for my birthday, and having a nicely decorated, comfy, place in an awesome neighborhood made it all that much more special.

We stayed for a couple of days to explore San Diego. The place was spacious, clean and comfortable. Parking was easy to find outside. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Loved our stay! House was exactly what we needed in order to accomplish everything we set out to do on our week long trip to San Diego. Parking was not as bad as we presumed, we had a spot every time on the street and there were absolutely no issues with any amenities! Thank you so much for letting us stay!

I’ve stayed at Alcazar Court several times now and it’s my go to home when I’m visiting San Diego. I cannot recommend Donna and Kris’s Airbnb enough. You have everything you need, are in an ideal location in SD with easy access to everything and the home itself is so peaceful, clean, quiet and very well equipped with what you might need for a short or long stay! Will continue to make this my first choice when traveling to SD 🩷

Great location and walkable to lots of bars, restaurants and shops. The private gated off courtyard was also great for a small kiddo to run around. The unit itself was also great and the hosts were super helpful; would recommend

10/10 would recommend. Kris' place is even better in person- very thoughtfully designed and had all the essentials you'd need for a comfortable stay. The location is very walkable to many cafes and stores which was also convenient. Would stay here again if I am in SD again !

This was our second stay here, and we loved it again! The cluster of bungalows is beautiful and so well-kept. We really appreciated having access to a parking space when we needed it as well. The only concern is that walking at night can be a bit sketchy a few blocks from here. Very safe in the daytime though.

Kris and Donna offered a beautiful cottage and professional, courteous service. Their place features attention to interior design and a range of features for a comfortable vacation. I ended up extending my stay!

Another lovely stay at Alcazar Court! This property is my go to location when I visit San Diego because of the consistent hospitality, cleanliness and great amenities. They are the gold standard for what I expect from airbnbs. Easy check in, easy street parking and a centrally located but peaceful location adds up to another great stay.

This beautiful bungalow has so much character! It's filled with interesting historical mementos, books and even vintage-looking cocktail shakers and glasses. Alcazar Court is a beautiful cluster of bungalows with individual outdoor spaces to enjoy your morning coffee. The unit was super clean and comfy - we loved it!
