Located only a few miles from San Diego’s bustling downtown, Balboa Park, Harbor, and airport, Hillcrest offers an array of bars, restaurants, coffee houses, boutiques and shops. Consisting of pedestrian-friendly streets and sidewalk patios, Hillcrest borders Balboa Park, the largest urban cultural park in North America and a hub for recreation, arts and culture, and community gatherings. The park is home to 16 museums and performing arts venues, ornate Spanish-Renaissance architecture, 1,200 acres of beautiful gardens and the world-famous San Diego Zoo.

Short minutes bring you to the neighborhoods of Bankers Hill, University Heights, Normal Heights, North Park, Mission Hills, Little Italy, Downtown, Gaslamp Quarter, Harbor, shopping centers and beaches. Hillcrest is in the center of the city – close to all.
